My husband uses oxygen 24/7. We are having problems with the VA in getting continued oxygen without having to go back to our home base in Amarillo, TX. every 6 months. We have been checking into the Inogen 3G portable oxygen concentrator that weighs only 4.5 pounds and doesn't need refills. Has anyone had any experience with the Inogen? Thanks. Carol

We already have a tow dolly and are towing our Camry. We heard that it was cheaper for me to drive the car behind the motor home rather than tow it. We have sold our home and we are now traveling. We had planned on RV'ing for a year or so, but now we are not sure, or at least I am not sure. I have not yet adjusted to going from a 2400 sq foot home to approx 300 sq ft motor home. We originally started in Amarillo TX and we are now in Prescott Valley AZ. We plan on traveling on up to Oregon then depending on how everything works out, across the upper U.S. to Ohio and then south. Then we will decide where we want to settle down; depending if we make it that far. We also saw a tow that had all 4 wheels down and may consider that depending on what we learn about "not towing or towing." Carol

I would like to know the pros and cons of towing our Toyota Camry behind our Allergro Bay as to driving it separately. Thanks. Carol

We bought 235/80R/22.5 Yokohama tires from a dealer in Prescott Valley AZ, because we couldn't get Michelins, and when we got the motor home back to the RV Park, I checked the tires and found out they put on 245/75R/22.5. Should have checked before we left the dealership. What, if any, problems might this cause? Thanks for your help. Carol

In regards to my reply at 12:30 today April 6; the tires we were trying to get for 235/80R/22.5. Don't know if all my info is correct so you need to check with Michelin to get the facts on availability. Carol

We had to buy tires just 2 days ago. We tried to go through the Michelin National and/or Advantage Accounts through a dealer here in Prescott Valley AZ and their search found that there are no Michelin tires available to be bought. They are all on back order across the U.S. because of a tire recall (don't know the date of the recall). Don't know for how long either. If you can find a dealer who may have some in stock, that may be your only alternative. We had to buy Yokohamas in order to continue our travels. Carol

Canvas Over Slides Flapping In The Wind
CarolNancy replied to CarolNancy's topic in Type A motorhomes
Thank you all so much. We will take all your replies into consideration. In regards to bringing in the slides in, that is what we have had to do because it was sounding like the canvas was going to be ripped off. We are in Prescott AZ and have being going through some major wind and dust storms. We are so thankful they are gone now for a little while. We have been told it's not too good to bring the slides in and out so often. Again thanks, Carol -
We are newbies at RVing and we have a Maine Coon Cat names Fluffy or Fluff for short. She has no problems with traveling accept she thinks she needs to be outside at night when we are parked (which we have let her do). Now if we don't let out she will claw at our air mattress or the seats or whatever she so chooses because she knows she can get our attention and she won't stop until we let her out. We have a cat house that I put out under the coach behind the front tire and she uses that. But there are times I would rather her be inside because it may be too cold or else for the fear of wild animals, but she insists on being outside. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep her inside at night without her keeping us up all night wanting out? Carol
