We have a 1992 Isuzu Rodeo and have had mixed opinions on flat towing. It is a manual transmission 5 speed with a X-fer case that has 3 positions, 2H/4H/4L. But no neutral on X-fer case. If we opt for a rear driveline disconnect, (Remco) would this make it towable without damaging the x-fer case? The hubs are the Manual type... I have some people indicate yes it would be towable but others are not sure. The manual for the car talks about a 30 mph speed limit and less than 50 miles after that they advise disconnecting both forward and aft drive shafts???
