My 2011 Ford Escape was just totaled, I am looking at the new 2016 Ford Escape, which according to owner's manual is not towable. One dealer told me he heard someone put a lube pump in his and was able to tow it 4 wheels down. Does anyone have information, or has towed one of the later models 4 wheels down. The 2016 model year is the same as 2013 to 2015.
