  1. Thanks Carl. That's my plan for the morning ( also need to call FMCA roadside assistance ( spoke to them today but their people cannot go on NY thruway ) hope they will work with shop we are at
  2. Frustrating. We were on our way to Springfield when entering the NY thruway near Utica had a brake warning light on the dash of our coach. Managed to make it into service plaza, but by then hydraulic parking brake malfunction keeps us from moving the coach. Roadside mechanic spent several hours on it but unable to repair it. Got towed into their shop and spending the night behind a NAPA store in small town in NY. They were nice enough to plug me in to a 20 a outlet in the back of their shop and will have their guy look at it the morning. Was supposed to be in Springfield for training as a volunteer tomorrow afternoon. Will see how the morning goes. Right now I have my genny running , the AC is on and just had dinner out of the fridge, so it could have been a lot worse.
  3. This was my first FMCA event and we had a great time. Weather turned out to not be an issue. Really cool to pull up to the fairgrounds and see so many coaches in one spot. We stayed very busy and sorry to have missed the forum meet up ( somehow scored tickets to Entegra party with lots of food, beverages, and a kicking band! . Great entertainment at Perry every night too. I got the opportunity to volunteer and spent 3 hours each of the day's riding a tram as a "safety" monitor ( was told its part of the insurance requirements). Got to meet lots of nice folks on the trams, but was pretty cold at 6:30 am riding in the dark. :-). Good times
  4. Thanks for that info Herman. We will be sure to look for you at the Meet the Forum event Michael
  5. Just curious. We are excited to attend our first FMCA rally. We usually travel with plenty onboard to eat but wondered if there was any food/vendors available at the rally in Perry? Didn't know how much I need to pack for my grill :-) Of course I never run out of wine and red solo cups lol Michael
