  1. I will double check the pressure listed on my struts and see if the next level up might work out better for me. Thanks again for all the advise and info. My wife had the same suggestion as Herman, get a stick! Happy wife = Happy life.
  2. Thank for the replies. I have about 3 doors that lift up and they have two gas struts per door. I have struts with 80 pounds pressure each. These are the doors I use most that seem to wear out the fastest: water/sewage, batteries and propane. They start to sag and I have to keep pushing them up, only to have them start dropping. I always replace both when I change them out. Always worse in the winter. Is there a better name brand that I should be looking for? WildeBill, is there a moderator for this site that can help me add my coach to my profile? I have a 2000 National RV Tradewind 37' Class A.
  3. I have replaced the gas supports for the basement doors on my class A several times. Does anyone know of a better system than this? Has anyone constructed their own basement door supports? My first time posting, thank you for your answers.
