Read the Newsday article here. http://www.newsday.com/long-island/state-c...abled-1.1802855 The article says that it is taking away "many" passes and not all. Abuse is apparently very high. I could not read the article as you must be a subscriber. It appears that the gist is: "No free golf for the disabled(?). No free camping for the disabled." I understand giving priority parking to those with disabilities (talk about an abused privilege!) but I suspect that whether you are disabled or not it still costs the State the same amount to maintain a campground or golf course whether the person using that facility is disabled or not.
