angelmarien@verizon.net Report post Posted March 14, 2010 I am an AF ret Tsgt. I was wondering if there could be a way to honor our fallen commrades, and I thought, why not name streets in the cities and towns they were lived, went to school etc. If the member was a Medal of Honor recipient, the name should have a star after their names. Has anyone know how to get this idea to our political members? Does anyone have any suggestions?
jimpat4649 Report post Posted April 16, 2010 I found all one has to do in many cities or towns is a written request to the City Council, City Engineer, Town Board etc. If there is a local Veteran's Organization contact them for assistance. I hope you don't reach any roadblocks in accomplishing this display of Honor.
