garrybrant@comcast.net Report post Posted May 31, 2010 My Adco vinyl tire covers have shreaded after three years (mostly Florida sun) and need replacement. I am wondering if the RV SunGuard Tire Savers are a better option and worth the $150 - $180 each? The material blocks the UV rays but allows the tires to breath which sounds like a good idea. They are also much easier to install rather than getting on your knees and having to reach behind the tires to secure the vinyl covers. All advice and especially experience with the RV SunGuard Tire Savers will be welcome.
Guest 2driftrs Report post Posted June 1, 2010 3 years - - WOW! I wonder if salt air might play a role. We're still using our ADCO covers after 10 years. BTW, we don't use the elastic cords they give you that you have to fasten behind the tire. We just slip on the covers and leave it at that. We've been through some incredible storms and never lost a cover yet!
