Thanks Wayne!! My son (Senior Chief) just retired after 21 years in the Navy and he would agree with this article. So would my great niece - Marines 6 years and counting.

I would like to point out that my wife is a Marine. A 1961 variety and she has stated that there is no way she could have done what these women do to prepare for deployment.

Today's Women Marines engage in the same training as their male counterparts. Being married to an "Old Breed," I don't think I could weather the storm of this new breed.
