MacGyver Report post Posted May 7, 2011 I have never had such a terrible experience in my life as at Fountain of Youth in Niland, Ca. I camp about every two weeks and the horrible situation I was in is inexcusable. Bottom line, if you are under 65, they don't want you there. The manager didn't want to listen and had made up her mind the moment she saw me. She was determined to charge me full price even though I had shared a campsite. I arrived shortly before midnight and my tent wasn't even setup on my friends site until after 3am and she still charged me 2 nights. I had paid, and then she came back to charge even more because I brought a young child for the day. She told me "WE are a business and this is how we make money". Don't go there!
