tandkj Report post Posted December 1, 2011 I just had the fridge defrost heater unit replaced, the fridge was displaying an "er-12" error code. While this corrected the fridge problem the freezer unit still will not self-defrost. It has had defrosting problems for over a year. I have contacted Dometic, PPL of Houston and several local tech's, no one was able to tell me the solution to the non-defrosting freezer problem. I checked the timer and reset it to the correct time but it still will not self-defrost. Any suggestions? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
