We are camping at Bolding Mill near Gainesville, GA on Lake Lanier. Our destination is Townsend, TN. We have looked at the possible route of taking Hwy 53 to Dawsonville, GA over to Hwy 411 up to Maryville, TN. Has anyone ever taken 53 over to Hwy 411 in your motorhome with a toad? The route looks OK from Gainesville to Hwy 400 but appears to be curvy as you head west from there. We have a 40 foot motorhome/toad and are somewhat questionable about this route? Would appreciate any helpful comments in this regard. Thanks!
