derh2o Report post Posted April 27, 2012 I am trying to figure the consequences of a heavier toad. I have a B+ with a V10 whose GCWR is 20,000lbs. Without the toad weight, I am now at 15,445lbs leaving me 4,555lbs. This considers most everything except tow bar and base plate. I am looking at two toad options, one which is 1,000lbs heavier and gets me close to the GCWR. What are the consequences of the heavier toad, especially power going up hills, the mileage difference and importance of getting close to the GCWR? Thank you for your help.
