bpickens Report post Posted December 8, 2012 We are making our first trip to FL in January for a few weeks. We would like to stay in the North East area and are looking for a nice park.
bizsmith@yahoo.com Report post Posted December 8, 2012 Ft Clinch SP is a nice place, we don't stay in private parks so no recommendations.
NavyDad89 Report post Posted December 8, 2012 I suggest checking http://Www.rvparkreviews.com for user park reviews on parks near the towns or cities you are thinking of being near and then contacting each park you find interesting to check availability. January's might be somewhat crowded except for any effect caused by the present economy. The central Florida parks here where we have wintered for 5 years are usually filled by now but are not this year.
claudia311 Report post Posted December 10, 2012 Also agree, Fort Clinch Sate Park on Amelia Island is great, 2 areas, beach and river. Also Pecan Park right off 95 N of Jacksonville is very nice, all paved sites. There are many many parks to choose from.
