ClayL Report post Posted March 6, 2015 Have you checked REMCO to see if it can be flat towed ?
Goofy2339 Report post Posted March 6, 2015 I have a 2011 SRX AWD it can be flat towed but the manual on the 2011 is wrong when I read it I saw a problem & contacted GM . They said a revision was made to the manual & I got the revision from the Caddy dealer. I believe the manuals after 2012 are correct-- don't know what year yours is. Maybe this will help: Revised Dinghy Towing Procedure #PI0268B (June 30 2011) Models 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX Hope it helps you.
CarlAda Report post Posted March 7, 2015 I flat tow a 2007 Cadillac CTS using a Remco lube pump kit. Works fine. Initial cost to set up the car is higher and it is not transferable to a new car -- downside. Kit runs about $900 plus installation. Part of the kit is installed on the car and part on the motorhome. paulrem Report post Posted May 14, 2015 I've been towing a 2011 SRX FWD since it was new. Never a problem, and forget about pulling any fuses. I've never drained the battery either. It's equipped with a BlueOx base plate and BrakeBuddy.
