2012 Roadtrek 210 Popular A/C Question

We have a 2012 Roadtrek 210 Popular, only 2,000 miles on it.

The "cool cat" heat pump/air conditioner self contained unit is not cooling/heating properly; told have to replace it.

Very expensive to replace.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?
