All is good in the hood
Today we enjoyed the fun of good neighbors. Ruth took Oscar for his morning walk and met a couple from Nottingham NH just across the road. When I went out to have a cigar, I met our neighbor to the left. He is recently retired and sells jewelry, his wife makes, at rallies, flea markets, and such. Just across the road I met a Viet Nam Marine vet. His wife and he have 5 small dogs. And we think Oscar is a hand full.
About 11AM we headed for a Mega RV show at the tampa fairgrounds. Dan this made Boston look like the parking lot at the state store on 93. Over 10 acres of tightly parked campers of all varieties and 2 giant buildings of wall to wall vendors. By the time we walked most of it for a look around, we had been there 5 hours and were too beat to revisit anything. We need to learn to buy when we see and not try to see everything.
Oscar was with us all day. He's been sleeping since we got back. Except during cheese and crackers time.
Ruth and I stepped out just before dark for another neighborhood block party. Four couples gabbing like we knew each other since grade school. We are getting used to this lifestyle FAST.
Pill bottles and early to bed tonight. Tomorrow we will attempt too do nothing.
