Makah Cultural And Research Center

Entrance sign at the Makah Cultural and Research Center. Among the items on display here are canoes, paddles, blankets, boxes made of cedar used for cooking, cooking utensils, games, toys, hats and artwork of the Makah Tribe. Inside the building is a full size reconstructed long house which you can explore. This is an amazing collection which gives insight into the lives of the Pacific Coastal Tribes. Like all native museums, photography was prohibited.
