Sunset along the St. Lawrence Seaway

After visiting the Eisenhower Lock on the St. Lawrence Seaway we spent the night at this rest stop overlooking the seaway. We barbecued and watched the sun set. While we ate dinner, one of the Great Lakes ships that we watched go through the lock passed beneath us going inland on the seaway. We saw the same ship again the next day when we stopped to eat lunch at a small roadside park. Several years later we were to see the same ship, the Algowood as it passed beneath the High Bridge in Duluth, Minnesota.
