Thanks for the responses. We'll have the grease issues checked out. That would explain why this has been a gradual issue. We've only pulled about 15,000 miles (still working). We have been following the correct procedures for towing (fuse pulled, neutral)

When towing our 2010 Equinox, the wheels no longer turn left or right when being towed. If sitting in the drivers seat, the wheels will turn when you turn the steering wheel. We've been towing the car since 2010, and this is a new issue. The Chevy dealership was unable to find any problems with electronics or any steering problems. Does anyone have an idea what may be causing this?
