Closeup of the logo I engraved into the floor. -
From the album: Our Barth
This is the logo I engraved into the new floor at the top of the stairs. The original flooring in the front of the coach was carpet and had this logo embroidered into it at the same location. The engraving was filled in with black epoxy. -

The kitchen is somewhat sparse since we have some further enhancements to make but it has been refinished. The wall treatment, faucet and blinds are new. The Oster blender in the corner was standard in Barths. Ours is complete with all attachments and works as if new. I don't think the previous owners had used them very much. The cabinets were all refinished but for some reason don't show the shine in this photo. -

A labeled view of the dashboard. Items labeled are newly installed. The netbook support folds down out of the way when not in use. The netbook can be secured in the holder to prevent it from falling out. The new monitor provides a view of the right side of the coach from behind the door backwards. I virtually eliminates the traditional blind spot on that side. I have cleaned up the cabling a bit since this photo was taken. -

This is the center dash where the heater/AC controls, radio, spot/flood lights control and misc switches. The radio is new along with the cable from the radio to my Zune media player. -

The dashboard is pretty much original. I did mount two fuse holders to the dash. I had found them under the dash and didn't care for them to be so inaccessible. Notice the new mounting panel for the two wiper air switches. The original snap-in mounting plates had deteriorated so I found some aircraft aluminum scrap and made the new panels. Now they are much more securely mounted. The speakers have since been replaced. They provide amplified instructions from the Acer Netbook navigation system. -

My dashboard as it looked during our first trip. The netbook has Microsoft Streets and Trips. It works well but not as well as I would have liked. Someday I will replace it but it works for now. There is another picture in this album which has labels to the key components I added. -

This view shows the new AC unit and thermostat. There were originally three thermostats on the wall but I replaced them with one Dometic thermostat. To cover the hole left by the others I mounted the new one on a board. The television was in the Barth when we purchased it but I don't think it was original since it is digital capable. The fire extinquisher is one of three we have installed on board. The detector was already installed but was checked out for proper operation. -

The new wall treatment is viny patterned wall paper. The "box" around the windows is original but has been refinished. The blinds in the bedroom, as in all windows, are new. To help defray cost we purchased the blinds from Lowes but all were way too long so we had to disassemble them to shorten them to the proper length. -

The headboard I installed is solid oak and was originally the footboard from an Ashley Queen size bed. It fit perfectly and is attached securely at the base of the corner posts. The cabinets are original and were refinished. The mirror is also original. -

Newly refinished bathroom sink and cabinet. We used linoleum on the floor and the wall behind the sink to withstand the water. The existing tile had been cracked in two places and I wasn't prepared to install tile and have it possibly break also. -
