    Ferry boat to Monhegan Island off the coast of Boothbay. A great day trip, lots of hiking and a very quaint artist community. Pack a lunch and drinks and good hiking or walking shoes! Rockland or Camden both have old schooners, some of which offer a day sail. Plus Camden has lots of nice shops and restaurants.
