About Me
You say, "Audaciious! Writing a blog about RVing when they've only been doing this thing for a year?" True, but if we hadn't been, we'd still be sitting in a "golden age" home in Burlington, VT. That said, we'll share with you how we have learned to cope with medical attention on the run. Because we're not very bright, we added a new member to the entourage: a pound puppy. He came to us via the Lost Angels rescue group in New Port Ritchie, FL. His name is Fred. He's a gorgeous English Chocolate Lab and he is NOT six years old as was implied. More like three! But we forgive them and he will grow up sometime.
We invite everyone to add comments to the various threads. These will address finding medical help; transporting records; making appointments in advance; walk-in clinics; pro-time testing; dental help; prescription delivery; and more. Tell us your experiences - the good and the bad - and offer any advice you can give.
The other threads will pertain to dogs on the run. Sources for information; what to look for; veterinary help; pros and cons of dog parks; a few training techniques; how to keep a dog safe while driving. Again, add your input.
