Just completed a round trip from Ohio to Maine with our Smart car in tow. Was GREAT! Did not even know it was there!

Size of the building is 32X60 and going with 50 amp service. Septic line for the house is completely up hill and other end house. Thinking of overhead doors 14' high 12' wide with operator.

Going to have a building built to store our RV in. Any suggestions, thoughts or things we may need to think about? Examples: floor heat, power, water ... Thank you..

Update Still have Smart. All 4 down. No more problems. I think I had the Break Buddy set wrong.

The Wife and I are also new to the FMCA but also very very new to RVing. Going on 9 months with our C and Smart car toad. In our mid 40's and feel like the kids on the block. After much prior research on motor homing, I felt it a must to join the FMCA right off. Big benefits. Hoping in November to make a run from Cleveland Ohio to San Francisco CA. (3 weeks, just the Wife and I). Kinda peace of mind knowing the FMCA is along for the trip.

Just had a problem with my Smart ABS light staying on. The Bedford Ohio Smart service center stated that the breaks got too hot and over heated the sensor. They believe the Breaking system puts just a little pressure on the breaks. We are unsure and are still testing.

Working really hard at the 2009 GLASS Rally. Looking forward to 2010. RC is a 8 year old black lab. Hobbies: Rving, Geocaching, eating and belly rubs .
