I recently purchased a 2013 Focus and assume that everything is similar to the 2012. I wish I had read this forum before.... so be it. Thank you all so much for the wealth of information. I have one additional question before I start the tow plate installation. Does the odometer register mileage when towing?

I have a 2005 Fleetwood Expedition and will need to replace the house batteries soon. Original installation was four 6-volt deep cycle batteries wired in pairs to produce 12 volts. Due to cost, I am considering installing two, or four, 12 volt deep cycle batteries as replacements since we almost never spend more than a day or so without shore power or use of the generator. Are there any problems doing this?
