  1. My wife and I also stayed here in March 2011. This is the Florida base for the RV Driving School (rvschool.com) which offers in-coach driving training. We fould the park to be quite nice. The site we rented was very large and comfortable. Many, if not most, of the sites are privately owned. There is a large meeting room for parties, etc. and the showers and laundry areas are clean and well maintained. The local area is a bit rough after dark but the campground is safe and secure. We would definitely stay there again.
  2. My wife and I are also new motorhome drivers. Because we have the same concerns expressed, we took a two-day driving class from **** Reed's RV Driving School (www.rvschool.com). We took the class in Ocala, Florida. The instructor was a former Greyhound driver so he was very experienced and very well trained. We learned key fundamentals about turning, mirror use, making proper turns, city, country and interstate driving and much more. We also learned that the best tip was to simply drive slow - well inside the limits of our coach. We now drive at 55 MPH and are very relaxed and comfortable that we understand how the coach drives and have learned essential skills about driving this big rig safely.
