Is highway 70 between Las Crues and Roswell,NM. suitable to drive a 40ft RV?

There is a small RV Park right by the entrance to Algo. But I heard they are charging quite a bit per night. You can also park at the parking lot for $22 a night right at the entrance to Algo. This is dry camping.
