As a police Officer, not all the locks in the world will keep a true hardened criminal out, but anything that makes the path difficult, timely or noisy is worth it. Also, if you're like me, I don't know the tag (license) number of all my vehicles, so I suggest that everyone put a large number or name -- with black or bright colors -- on the roof of their motorhome or trailer. It can be seen from the air, which is similar to police, rescue and school buses. It makes your vehicle easier to spot by air units and can lead to quicker apprehension, since your motorhome doesn't have a tracking device installed. Anything that will shorten the time for apprehension makes it that much harder for the thief to dispose of the goods, and provides for a faster return of the "goods" to you.
