  1. Update I have declined this Workamping position because of the polygraph test and that this position will generate a W-2 some thing that can and may not work well for me. Also a glitch in a test could hurt me down the road in my current position and future positions. Bottom line I have a good reputation and a good position that a screwed up test would totally mess up. Thanks to all who posted. JimR
  2. I am applying for a winter Workamping position and this is in the agreement that they want me to sign. This is in a RV Resort in the southwest and is in exchange for the site (up to 24 hrs week) maintenance and escorting. "further agrees to random polygraph testing throughout the term of employment only as it may relate to items that could affect, influence, or subject the company to misappropriation, defalcation, inappropriate actions or the like." Has anyone seen this before? I do not think I want to do this. Your Thoughts. JimR
  3. A wild guess-- I have a 2007 Freightliner chassis and I developed an air leak that I did not catch for a little while. The air pressure gauge was the problem it had cracked and was leaking air. Fix new air pressure gauge. JimR
  4. Funny I thought the Splendide was the Whirlpool knock off And yes you do have to buy two units instead of one but I have had both and the Whirlpool is far superior to the Splendide, IMO, no wrinkles and almost twice as fast being able to dry and wash at the same time. Have Fun JimR
  5. Forgot to say thank you for welcoming me to the forum but I have been an FMCA member since 2003 and thought I had posted here before but hey there goes the memory. JimR
  6. It is an ALFA SeeYA 40 foot 2007 model year. There is nothing special about the washer and dryer set up and both run off of 120 volts. The grey tank is 65 gallons but I do not run the washer unless the tank is open and connected to a sewer connection. Washer model # LHW0050PQ dryer LDR3822PQ1 both are by Whirlpool and are a little smaller than a regular or home sized unit and are of good quality. The dryer being a 120 volt does take a little longer to dry but has less wrinkles than I had with the Splendide in my other ALFA. The units are stackable (not combination)with a kit they came with the RV This is the washer http://www.whirlpool.com/laundry-1/laundry-2/washers-3/-[WFC7500VW]-1001633/WFC7500VW/ JimR
  7. I have a Whirlpool washer and dryer that are very good units that you can stack I will not go back to the Splendid. Mine are in a 25 inch wide by 68 inch tall cabinet JimR
