Like so many before us, we thought our last coach was going to be our "last" coach. While having work done on our 1998 Discovery, we started looking around the dealership and realized that we really needed and wanted slide outs and such. Within a couple of months, we found the Excursion 40X with 3 slides.

The combination washer/dryer is larger than the one we had in the Discovery and it seems a lot quieter. -

Two sofas make into very comfortable magic beds (air mattress). -

An outside kitchen complete with sink, refrigerator, and barbecue. And a 32 inch TV, lookout football season as I know where my DH will be. -

As the navigator, you would imagine that this would be my chair but once DH saw how it reclines.....well, you know. While camping, DH has proclaimed his throne for watching TV. -

Over the Television is a nice shelf for displaying little knick knacks. It makes it even more homey. -

Saying goodbye to the 1998 Discovery and loading up the new coach. That Discovery gave us over 12 wonderful years and I have to admit, I do miss it a bit. -

Congratulations! We recently traded in our 1998 36ft Discovery (with no slides) for a 2009 40ft Excursion (with 3 slides). We so understand how you must feel with the additional space. The Discovery was going to be our last coach but just like you, we were having work done and looking around a dealership and realized that we really wanted more. So happy for you. -
We took a 3 month trip around the the country and truly enjoyed seeing our beautiful country
