Oil oxidizes, so if in doubt change it. It is cheaper to change than risk it.

My air drier was nasty when I changed the filter. The shop that I had servicing never told me about it. I learned that here-- read and learn with the rest of us.

If I understand what you are saying it is for safety if a bag blew well you are under your coach. I would keep using the wood. I built cat blocks out for 2x4's for working under.

With factory type plug wires when they run parallel you can get induction and fire a plug to a cylinder with the intake valve open. Back when propane conversions where common a few air boxes blew off from cross fire from induction, so try to separate your wires and if crossing another one try for 90 degrees to prevent induction.
-
Part of the delay is the intake heater and the colder it is the longer the delay.

I believe that air fitting is to air up your system to release the parking brakes for towing instead of using caging bolts on the brake pots.

And if you tell the complete whole story assuming people know nothing no one will read it . So use the short version and people can ask questions they will learn more that way.

On my FL80 I can fill one saddle and it will equalize with the other one so check for a pinched or plugged balance tube

I think one is OD and the other is circumference .25 inch X 3.14 = 0.79 3/4 is 0.75

Air Conditioner Thermostats Replacement
bm02tj replied to pattie1tom's topic in Systems and Appliances
Most thermostats have rh rc w g y c as long as you use the battery and not c on the stat it will work as that is what would complete the 24v ac power and will argue with the 12v dc -
Did any one clean the condenser fins, as this will drive the high side up along with the amperage? When the tech had his gauges on he should be able to tell.

You need to find problem Do you leave your air dump on as it draws power and will discharge battery's

My 1816MG Renegade has a flex collar between the cab and body and now has 211,000 miles on it

You may be better off staying with what you have and search for a good semi retired mechanic to repair what you have. You may be buying someone else's can of worms going to a used RV.

If the electronics do not show anything it could be a bad valve guide, lifter or lobe on the camshaft

You are a customer so pull up into line as it will not be long for the car ahead to move but I do like your kindness to others

Remedies For Leaking Antifreeze Into The Engine Oil
bm02tj replied to stillcous@yahoo.com's topic in Engines
If you are not going to see freezing temperatures drain antifreeze and replace with water so if you get it in your oil it will evaporate and not do more engine damage Adding some of your leak stoppers could be a long term problem to try to clean up -
One I do not need to do over is from Placerville CA to Georgetown with a 44 ft rig. I used the whole road and then some. I will try some out east in a year or so. Happy and safe travels.

That can also be caused by your oil in need of changing as was my case. What type oil and filter and how long since your last oil change miles and months? Bruce
-
I had a similar problem and the shop at home scanned and could not confirm trouble to absolute certainty but ask about last oil change and I was pushing 12 months changed oil and problem went away.

The biggest thing to take into accounts is the design capacity has to be more than it is expected to carry When the running gear is maxed out it will not live I run with a super C with a 49,000 lb gvw and only load to 37,000 now with 210,000 miles on it Bruce
-
It is all to do with gearing and your torque converter lock up until you have enough RPM to make power to slip converter and drive rear wheels mine sucks when I have to start on hill or if I get slowed down to much behind some one else or bad road makes me.
-
The Freightliner dealer at home posted they only do warranty work on motorhomes, no non warranty work but said mine is OK because it is a real truck.
-
I up graded and love my PRXB as it hold at lower RPMs. I have a super C with a 3126 Cat and it was easy.

I run and am happy with my 1816MG Renegade. because it is the only type you can have a garage in the back for my Jeep TJ and you can have fixed or serviced at any truck shop. I have people asking to call them if I want to sell and I just say sorry.
