Max, my pup and I have been on the road together since 2007. He is my co pilot and navigator. Well, actually, he doesn't read maps very well, but he is well acquainted with "lots" of rest areas. Best part, is that I can tell him anything and he does not talk back. We live in Florida full time, but travel to the mid west and "home" during the summer months in the RV. Originally from south west of Chicago but have lived in Florida since 1985. That is the year that my husband decided that he would rather cut grass than shovel snow. We purchased a business and then retired officially in 2000. He passed away in 2002 while we were on our way to Vancouver. We both loved the RV lifestyle and I did not want to give up the friendships we had gained, so I just took the wheel and here I am.

I am lucky enough to have friends & family who are willing to travel short trips with me in the winter, but I usually tag along with other RV friends for longer trips. They always welcome me and I have some peace of mind during these trips. I am always looking forward to meeting new people.

I have just become interest in Geocaching and have met many other Geocachers this past year. I sort of feel like a pirate searching for treasure. It is great fun. I also am a gourd crafter, and belong to the Florida Gourd Society. I am interested in Astronomy and carry my telescope with me, but have not really used for some time. I am an x skier, snomobiler and ice skater. Haven't done it since leaving the mid west due to lack of hills (and snow) in Florida. But I really love to watch the snow fall and am thrilled that I don't have to shovel it anymore. Now, I spend my winter in the yard with the birds. Someday, I will retire the RV, but I hope that day is a long way off.
