  1. I have been using it for 2 years, works great, you do need to get the receiver and the dish at the same time, other receivers don't work with it, my only real complaint is how long it takes to go through the set up cycle every time i take it down and reset it up, and then if i have moved out of territory, i have to get local channels again, which seems to involve me setting it all up, getting connected, then either calling or getting online and having them change my service address (not billing address), pinging my receiver, and then rebooting the whole system again, all this can take about an hour on occasion, and rarely less than 40 minutes. It does seem to work best by going on line when i have a connection rather than calling. but all in all very easy to do, i just tend to be impatient.
  2. In my opinion there is no must to naming anything, some really like to name their different possessions, others, not so much...my wife and I generally tend to name things, though sometimes we ignore what we named it and call it something else all the time. We have had two different motor homes, our first was 'The Mothership' the second is what we are living in now, and is 'The StarShip' with our tow being the StarShip Lander III (lander's 1 and 2 were rear ended and killed while not being towed, thank goodness) But this is our preference.
