My kitchen ceiling light bulbs failed and when I tried to change them I could not twist the bulbs to remove them. I finally got one bulb out and found a plastic ring holding the bulbs in place. How do I replace the bulbs?

I have a 2007 Newmar Kountry Star and I have had several broken arms on the wiper assemble. I need to adjust the linkage on the drive motor to the arms. Does anyone know how to do that?
