  1. Hi, I have a camp trailer with a Magnetek 6332 and the converter has gone bad. What do you recommend as a replacement? Does the distribution panel and everything have to be replaced or can you just replace the convereter? Thanks for the help.
  2. Current roof material - rubber membrane over wood. How difficult - very difficult to replace the entire membrane. Looking for a good, quick fix that would last us a year or so. How much rot - none. We live in AZ so we have been fortunate. Plywood or OSB - OSB. Thanks!!
  3. Good afternoon guys, my Father In Law and I are working on a tow behind camp trailer and have found out that the roof is deteriorating. There are a few spots where the rubber sheeting is worn through and there is wood exposed. We don't want to drop a bunch of money into fixing it since it's a bit older. What is the proper way to reseal the portions of the roof that have exposed wood? I understand that this will only be a band-aid and might only last a year or so. I appreciate the help.
  4. My Father In Law just called and he said the refrigerator is working as of right now. Thanks for the help. He might have found a loose fuse. I'll be in touch if it fails again.
  5. Thanks huffypuff, looks like that will be the next step. Will keep you posted.
  6. Removed the refrigerator. The flue is spotless. The baffle is still in the tube. Man, this is a tough one? My Father In Law thought it was flame related originally, so the control panel and thermocouple have already been replaced.
  7. Yes, I have the cover. It was just removed for the pic. Thanks guys, I'll be checking it tomorrow. Will keep you posted.
  8. Good afternoon Guys. I have a trailer with a Dometic Americana Model 2652. When plugged into A/C, the refrigerator works great. When I unplug and run it off of gas, it doesn't cool at all. I have a good flame I think...see picture. The flame stays on constantly but does not cool the refrigerator. Any ideas on where to start? Should I inspect the area just above the flame for a clog of some sort? I appreciate any help. Thanks.
  9. Guys, thanks for the input. I didn't do enough research and had the wrong manufacturer of the refrigerator. Also, we found some issues with the electrical of the trailer near the battery and fixed all of that. The refrigerator worked earlier this afternoon on LP. It's plugged into A/C power overnight tonight and I'm taking it to the dunes the next couple days. I'll give you a full report when I get a chance. Thanks again, great forum!!
  10. Good evening, I'm helping my Father In Law troubleshoot his RV refrigerator. It works great on A/C. When in gas mode, we have a good flame but the refrigerator only works intermittently. When it does work, it's very cold. My first question has to do with the flame itself....is it either on or off? What I'm saying is, is there a high and a low flame or just one flame? Like I said, we have a good flame but I'm lost after that. I appreciate the help.
