You've already gotten too technical for me. If I can unplug & replug or splice a black wire to a black wire etc I'm good. Past that not so good. But thanks.

Recently while making a turn around in an RV park, I got too close to a palm tree and took my midship turn signal light off. The broken light has an incandescent twist in bulb. The only replacements that I have been able to find are LED. How much trouble am I going to get into swapping from one to the other?
