I read somewhere of someone leaving their motorhome at National Gateway National Park at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn NY. Only 14 day max stay . Dry camping with bus to subway to airport. You cannot use Bely Parkway. Good Luck

In 2 weeks I will be traveling with my motorhome to National Gateway Park at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. I will not be using Belt Parkway, which does not permit RV's. I will be coming across Staten Island NY and using the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge into Brooklyn, NY. Can someone give me the best route to travel with my motorhome.

I just signed up for Unlimited Plan with Verizon. I have had Verizon for years with no complaints. The rep at the store told me not to use cell phone as Hot Spot for more then 30 minutes because it will damages cell phone. Has anyone experienced this problem?

We are leaving soon for a trip from NJ to Sisiters Oregon. I have had Verizon for years and had good coverage. I just switched to Unlimited Plan for 2 cell phones we use. I had planned on using the phones as Hot Spot for Notebook computer and I Pad. Verizon rep told us to only use Hot Spot for about 30 minutes because it will cause damage to cell phone. Has anyone else been told this or experienced any damage to their phones?

I recently saw a motorhome in our campground which had a portable fencing system that surrounded the entire awning area. It was only about 18 inches high so you could step over it. I just bought a toy poodle and it would be just what I need to sit out with her. Does anyone know where I can get this type of portable fence system? I checked all the major Pet Stores. Last year at the Harrisburg RV show I bought 2 yellow plastic power cord holders that look like large dounuts. They work great and I would like to buy another one without going to RV show. Does anyone know the name of the company and where I can get another one. Thanks Syd
