I built one. great. 50-amp service, water. did not put in a dump station, that would have been a good idea. floor drains, sloped floor so i can wash as needed. lots of overhead lights makes it nice to see. my coach is only 36ft but made it 55 just in case we upgrade. the slide by doors could open a little wider but i have plenty of room inside to put out the slides. no heat but i just turn on the heat in the coach, and i do winterize the water system good luck!

Get a motorhome and spend some time with the kids. You'll have great memories. Let them help you with the purchase. It will be fun.

I would like to know what you go with. I have the Goodyear also, been happy so far. How do the Michelin's compare in price?

I have been wanting to visit this park, as it is close to home. thanks for the input on the bridge, i was hoping to be able to travel the park in the motor home.

roadmap, what are you looking for? I live in NOVA and can give you some recommendations depending on what you want? Cherry Hill is the cloest to visit DC if that is the agenda. i have never stayed there, but it seems to get good reviews. Maryland and VA have some nice parks as well as the Northern VA regional parks that may work. my coach is 36ft so i get into places that most could or would not good.
