I was thinking why a person could not have a thin 10" diameter piece of metal cut too lay on the burner and then you should be able to use any type of cookware even Corningware. I am sure it would affect the cooking temperature but it would be a small adjustment. Just a thought.

Anyone have any information as to what changes may have been passed at the meeting?

Towing 2010 Jeep Wrangler
Eagle replied to mmorgancfdc@aol.com's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
RickM I believe that when you made the tight 360* turn the front wheels did not straighten back out. (I made a fairly sharp 360 turn in a parking lot.) The column did not lock it was the wheels did not straighten back up. This is not uncommon for this to happen after a real sharp turn. My advise is to do as the owners manual says. I also would install a disconnect switch for the battery cable rather than having to disconnect it every time. -
Some of you need to reread the original post. I am not knocking Flying-J. I have refueled at Flying-J for years but now that Pilot has purchased them they charge about 6 cents more per gallon at the truck pumps for using a debit card. By the way I have never dumped at any truck stop so I could care less if they charge $5.00 or $50.00.

This is just a thought ... since Pilot has bought Flying J and the Pilot management has not catered to the RV industry, maybe FMCA should contact Loves and see what they can come up with. I enjoy filling up at the truck pumps as it so much faster, but they charge about 6 cents per gallon more if you use a credit or debit card. Any comments on this?

I was wondering if anyone has used the Elks or Moose lodges for stop overs? Especially Alabama, Florida and Mississippi.

Be sure to check the owners manual of the truck to see if it can be towed all wheels down. Just because it has a standard transmission doesn't mean it can be towed all wheels down.

A couple of years back we were stopped by CHP in California and was informed that motorhomes followed the same rules as trucks.
