I did not receive a new remote switch with the new water heater. I have found a website that shows the conversion and it shows using a dual switch and not using the old switch.

How do I rewire our water heater from a GC10A-3E to a GC10A-4E? The GC10A-3E has 3 wires they are Green, Blue and Brown. The GC10A-4E has 4 wires they are Green, Blue, White and Orange. What GC10A-3E wires corresponds with what GC10A-4E wires and what Do I do with the 4th wire on the GC10A-4E? I have the 3E & the 4E wiring diagrams but have no clue on what goes where. Ron Crow
