Chiefneon - did you get the Tmobile sim yet? How is it working with the m2000?

    Howdy!

Yes I finally got it and set I up after the holidays. Problem is T-Mobile shows I have excellent 4G coverage at my location. Turned on I get one bar and no connection running a speed test. I placed it in my WeBoost sleek and get three bars and still get a very low speed to no connection error running a Speed test my next try will be to break out my WeBoost RV 65 with a directional antenna to see if that works. If not I’m giving up on FMCA and sending the **** thing back to them.

Anyone know if you can place the T-Mobile sims card in a router?

  2. Howdy!

I’ve been suffering with my FMCA MiFi hotspot for months. Finally was able to contact the tech support and they sent me out a new Inseego M2000 to replace my 8000. Once I received it the problems continued. Finally contacted tech again and they sent me out a T-Mobile sims card. The struggle continues, I get slow to no connection error code running speed test. That while using a WeBoost booster with the bars and the map show I have excellent 4gT-Mobile at my location. This rediculous as before the Sprint/T-Mobile takeover I was getting great connections and using and excess of over 500gb a month, FMCA MiFi hotspot has been worthless now months.

Anyone know if you can place the T-Mobile sims cad in a router?

  3. Howdy!

I recently began having problems with my FMCA Sprint MiFi 8000 hotspot. I contacted FMCA and they replaced it with a new INSEEGO m2000. The problems continued and the FMCA did something to improve the data connection. That didn’t last long and the problems continue. I have always used a WeBoost signal booster and was able to get a very good signal even with the old hotspot. I now get a good signal with the new INSEEGO but very slow speeds to nonexistent. I believe these problems may be caused by Sprint antennas going offline when T-Mobile merged. Whatever it is my account with FMCA has been worthless for the last few months and I have been unable to contact them regarding it. It’s really shame as before this I had great service on this account and used to for or sole streaming device.

I have the same problem, after much investigating, I find now that T-mobile has taken over Sprint and according to T-mobile tech, the cell tower close to me has been upgraded from Sprint to T-mobile. This requires a new sim chip from the Sprint chip to T-mobile so I can access the closer tower rather than the one it has to connect to now because of the upgraded tower close to me. My internet speed is now .5 Mbs. I drove 30 miles to get to the T-mobile store they stated NOTHING can be done about it this Labor Day weekend as I have no access to the FMCA account and no one on the list for FMCA account holder is answering when T-mobile tries to call. The FMCA plan has to be updated to support the new T-mobile chip, but with no account password codes I cannot change the plan. Only FMCA can do this no one answers at FMCA to change the plan with T-mobile. It also may be that FMCA cannot change the plan to cover access to the T-mobile towers.

This make s the device practically useless, I get almost no connection speed. This has been going on for over a week. Add to the frustration T-mobile takes over an hour to answer my tech support call.

I have had the FMCA plan for just over a month and it is useless, how do I cancel?

    Howdy!

Thank for the information. I’m in he same boat as you are. The new inseego hotshot hasn’t worked from the gitgo. I had great use of the previous 8000 hotspot using hundreds of GB’s a month. I just got off the phone with WeBoost as I have two boosters a Sleek which I used with the previous FMCA 8000 hotspot and also a 65 RV Connect.  Neither will connect to the inseego. I guess we’ll both have to wait to talk to FMCA to get this worked out.

  5. Howdy!

I upgraded my FMCA Sprint/T-Mobile to the new inseego 5G hotspot. Since doing so I have little to no signal with the new hotspot. Before I upgraded I used the previous 8000 hotspot with a Sleek booster and received a good signal. The Sleek antenna booster doesn’t booster the signal on the inseego. I’m wondering now if the inseego is trying to connect to T-Mobile not Sprint as before or my Sleek does work with 5G. Before upgrading with the old hotspot we would use and excess of 500gb of data a month streaming everything.

  6. Howdy!

I have been trying to place an order for a Sprint hotspot for a couple of months now. The online form keeps rejecting it. I’ve called benefits and they just state they haven’t started taking new orders. I waited until July and still the same. Just wondering if they are ever going to start anytime soon?
