  1. I have a 2007 Monaco Camelot PDQ40. The outside arm rest on the passenger arm rest side has worked loose and the adjuster for height also no longer engages. How does one remove and repair/replace the arm rest? I cannot find a tag indicating the manufacturer. LHF
  2. Just when I think there is hope for us another fool raises their head. Not to be insensitive t,an unfortunate out come ,but still a very very dumb choice. I like the ruse of loading a pump shot gun. Very effective ??I have had a strange incident in a San Jose Cal RV park, late at night ,many years ago, used the same ruse. "" I did not open the door"" , never saw three men run so fast in my life..Read previously about this in an RV throwaway mag.Self preservation is just common sense. A suit will not replace it..However it could make life a lot more complicated/ difficult for us.As has been well said """ You cannot fix stupid"""
  3. I have purchased a 2007 Monaco Camelot with 400 ISL Cummings power plant. I have had a problem with the hose connecting the storage, overflow coolant tank to the radiator. It runs a very "S" shape course and crosses over the air filter and under a steel supporting plate. Tends to rub on these and thus potentially fail. Which it has done, by wearing a hole in the hose. Fortunately I discovered the leak before I lost all the coolant On trying to replace it I had difficulty in locating a suitable hose. Flex, re enforced, high temp and correct diameter. Any one ever have this problem? How was it handled ? The RV dealer also had a hard time locating suitable hose. The trouble is that a sufficiently strong high temp hose, even a flexible one is hardly flexible enough to route away from the offending filter etc. Lee
  4. Fly J , Loves, Pilot. We travel in a 40' Motor Home with a Toad. I have found that many of the places to refuel are not user friendly especially if you go to the designated "RV" island. Often the turn in or out is way to tight, or the is a large iron or concrete post at the ends of the island. Many times parked cars limit the turning radius. The bottom line , the truck islands are at least able to accommodate big rigs. In my home town there is one service station that offers dump services ,which is free if you buy fuel there. This is very useful as many traveling in Montana Dry camp. We use a Fly J loyalty card and get 3 cents off. Applied and got this on my own. I was told by a desk clerk that if you use the FMCA flying J you get one cent off. Makes no sense. This does go up when use it more though. Also if you use your loyalty card and a credit card I have at times received the cash price.
