georgiebc Report post Posted October 28, 2016 Is anyone using the Roadmaster EZ5 baseplate ? I have a 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude, and the EZ5 looks like it would be a lot easier than my last car that used the Roadmaster crossbar connection. Thanks. manholt Report post Posted October 31, 2016 Then go for it...there is no, you have to use this or that law, as long as it does the job and you can hook up chains or cable, I like to cross mine, between tow/towed, with a brake system, then that's it ! If you notice, I don't use a base plate of any kind for my Jeep! I slide the pin for Roadmaster, using my D ring holder...3/16" Steel Bumper! Carl
