guizmo Report post Posted December 18, 2016 Has anyone had any experience with Tyron tire bands on their RV? Are they worth it?
blakeloke Report post Posted December 18, 2016 https://tyron.com/ UK based, run flat technology with applications for military, armored, VIP and commercial. Didn't see sizing or RV application but didn't spend a whole lot of time on their website. Blake
Carmar122 Report post Posted December 18, 2016 I have them on my 2004 American tradition. Came with coach from original owner. I. Am at lazy days Tampa they offer them in all there coaches. I was at Spartan in charlotte Michigan for new tires and service and they offer them. Only thing that worries me is if I get a flat tire will emergency roadside service be able to change tire even with tool they give you to undo band. Reason I say this is because wheel still needs to be supported to compress top bead way down to get at band. All that being said would I buy them today probably not Carl. bthomforde Report post Posted December 20, 2016 I have them on our 2012 Allegro Bus, the previous owner had them installed. I don't have any tools to remove them, I recently had new tires installed and the dealer didn't have any special tools but was able to remove and reinstall the Tyrons without any problem. Not sure about roadside service but I don't see an issue.
