Alaska

We are in the process of planning a trip to Alaska next year.  We have a 45 foot Coach.  Has anyone used the ferry -  aka the Alaska Marine Highway ?  Is that a good alternative to the drive though Canada to get to Anchorage, etc.?

And any experience with any of the tours that leave from the US and spend around 2 months traveling?

Unless you have very deep pockets, forget the Ferry.  Are you a FMCA member and do you plan to tow?  2 month tours are available, they are currently taking reservation foe 2018 and will cost you an average of about $9,000+...your not the only one going to Alaska!
