rpbuttery Report post Posted May 2, 2018 For the first time since we have been RVing, our 2018 six-month trip will include three stays of one month each. When at home in Florida for the winter, we take our 2011 Allegro Open Road RED out of storage for monthly “exercise”: a two hour drive; run the generator under load; extend the leveling jacks; and extend the slide-outs. Are any special motorhome maintenance or operating procedures suggested while a motorhome is parked and being used during a stay of a month or longer? wolfe10 Report post Posted May 2, 2018 About all I would do for a one to two month stay is have the diesel tank topped off to reduce condensation and since it will be in the summer, add a BIOCIDE such as Biobor JF to prevent algae growth. Cover tires if possible. Enjoy your stay.
