DigMyPast Report post Posted June 26, 2018 Do you need to remove the towbar to drive the VW? I have a 38 ft Fleetwood Southwind. Considering buying a classic 1974 VW Beetle. Saw you can buy tow setup very inexpensively. Once you get to where you want to unhitch, do you need to take off bar from Bug before driving bug? If so sounds like a lot of work for old folks.
