aztec7fan Report post Posted April 5, 2010 If anyone remembers the song "Convoy" sung by C.W. McCall in the 1970s, you'll remember that it started, "On the dark of the moon on the 6th of June ..." Well, a few fans of C.W. McCall will be re-creating this trip and calling it Convoy 2KX (2010). It will follow the same route they used in 2000 when they did it the first time, from Santa Cruz, California, to Wildwood, New Jersey, with a stop in Ouray, Colorado, to possibly meet with Bill Fries (aka C.W. McCall).
