chris8601 Report post Posted June 9, 2019 We are new to owning a Coachmen Product. We recently purchased a 2008 Aurora FWS. We used to have a Bounder Diesel and could use some help. This coach has a workhorse chassis. Where in Illinois would we go for chassis issues. We are trying to get the air level as this coach has a Firestone air bag system but the full wall slide is making the driver side low and we have aired it up but don't really know if there is a problem or not. The unit has only 15k miles and the inside has had very little use also. The water works panel is also a problem. We have an appt tommorrow for awnings on the windows to be installed but the handle for the water works needs a pliers to turn the valve. The steps were working file and now that stopped. Any clue and where to find a fuse is there is one would be helpful. The circuit breakers are not popped either. Thank you
wolfe10 Report post Posted June 9, 2019 chris8601, Welcome to the FMCA Forum. Very likely the air bags were not an original part of the chassis from Workhorse. May have been added by Coachman or a previous owner. I would start by getting RIDE HEIGHT SPECS for your chassis. Measure all four corners to see how far out of spec you are. Then, look for an old fashion truck spring shop. They can best advise on whether an additional leaf, shim or new springs are needed.
