JOHNBRUGGER Report post Posted December 17, 2019 I bought a 2014 Tiffin Allegro Open Road SA31 recently. The MH was set up with Direct TV, but we have Dish. My receiver is Dish and is functional. The system will not start up. It does not recognize any satellite and will not lock on. As far. As I can tell all components are operational. The winegard toggle switch will not turn green though when in the on position. Is there something that needs to be tweaked at the satellite on the roof, or could this switch be faulty, or is there some other mystery to be solved? hermanmullins Report post Posted December 17, 2019 John, Welcome to the Forum. A few questions. Is yours a satellite dish or an in-motion dome. If it is a dome you will have to remove the cover and change the dip switches from Direct to Dis Network. However if you have a satellite dish you have some changes. Winegard has a kit to change their Traveler Satellite from Direct to Dish and visa versa and they are great to work with. Let us know what brand of dome or dish you have.
